For revising previous lesson playing game Bus stop. Learners divide into 4 groups and name things on the wall. It’s rainy. It’s a monkey. It’s an eagle etc.

Look. What can you see? Yes, you are right.

Pre-teaching the new words: (in) the mountains, (in) the forest, in the river.

Show me please mountains, river, forest. Learners mime and show. Good.

Now look.

What is there in the forest? There is fish in the river. There are monkeys in the forest. Gives examples using table:

There is /are monkey/s in the forest.

There is an eagle/eagles in the mountains.

Listen and show. There is fish in the river.

There are lions in the forest.

There is sheep in the mountains. Good.

Now Aigul answer: Is there an elephant in the river? No, there isn’t. etc.

(G) Learners choose one topic. Teacher gives paper with animals. Odd one out. Lion fish monkey.

Teacher gives learners animals cut-outs. Learners should find exact place and stick and say.

(G) Learners stick animals: 1 – in the mountains, 2 – in the forests, 3 – in the river.

There is a snake in the mountains.

(I) Learners bring animals to display wall. Teacher asks Are there sheep in the forest? Yes, there are. No, there aren’t.

Teacher assesses groups by giving stars with comments on them excellent, good, well done.
