1 этап. ( Организация детей)
1. Приветствие.
T: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you! Sit down, please!

2 этап. (Фонетическая зарядка, актуализация изученного материала.)

4 этап (Ознакомление с новой лексикой по теме “In my room”)
-We`ll review the words on this theme and do some exersices with the turn
there is/ there are. Now let`s start.
T: Today we are going to read the text on theme “ In my room”. But first
let`s look at the new words (учащиеся слушают слова, догадываются о
значении слов по контексту или путем перевода, возможны
картинки). Называем предметы e. g. : (a green armchair)
a lamp, an armchair, a sofa, a chair, a computer, a bed, a mirror,
a cupboard, a shelf, a book, a fridge, a box, a piano
Учащиеся составляют предложения из новых слов.

В английском языке есть особая форма выражения расположения вещей. Для этих целей используются обороты there is и there are. В этом уроке мы рассмотрим в каких случаях и как правильно употреблять эти обороты, а также некоторые их отличительные особенности.
На русский язык мы дословно переводим оборот there is/ there are – там есть, но считается, что предложения, начинающиеся с таким оборотом, лучше переводить с конца, упуская слово "там". Например:
There is one chair in the room. - В комнате (есть) один стул.
There are some chairs in the room. - В комнате (есть) несколько стульев.
1. Англичане довольно часто используют оборот there is/ thеre are, в основном для того, чтобы отметить где и что находится, поэтому в предложении присутствует место расположения. Сам оборот there is/ there are принято ставить в начале предложения. Рассмотрим на примерах:
There is a knife on the table. - На столе (есть, лежит) нож.
There are five balls in the box. - В коробке (есть) пять мячей.

Обратите внимание, что оборот there is употребляется перед субъектами в единственном числе, а there are - перед субъектами во множественном числе. Порядок утвердительных предложений следующий: Подлежащее (There) - Сказуемое (to be) - Дополнение (Object) - Обстоятельство (Adverbial modifier).

Look at the picture for a moment and name all the things you can

Now , you know when we want to point at the place where an object or a subject is situated, we use the turn There is/ there are.
You should use there is in singular, when you speak about one thing, and there are in plural, when you speak about many things.
