The theme of the lesson: Eating habits

The aim of the lesson:

Educational: Presentation of the theme «Eating habits», to be able to speak about  food, to check  pupils’  knowledge  on the  theme

Developing: to develop   listening , writing  and  speaking  abilities ;to check
knowledge  of the  vocabulary,

Bring-up: to  stimulate  pupils  to learning   the  foreign  language.

Methods of the lesson: mixed

Visual  aids:  a computer,  a project  cards, the  wallpaper ,pictures.

Procedure of the lesson

І. Organization moment. а) Salutation

1. Greeting. Good morning children, I`m glad to see you, how are you today? Sit down, please. Who is away?

-What date is it today? – Today is the 17th of November.

-What month is it know?- It is November.

-What season now? – It’s Autumn.

2. Dividing groups. «Fruit» and «Vegetable»

II. Checking up the homework.

-What was your homework for this lesson?

Are you ready?

Well, I’ll check up your homework.

III. Presentation of the new them: Today`s theme of our lesson is «Eating habits». Today we`ll speak about «Eating habits». We`ll do lexical-grammatical exercises.

I have a cup of tea with a cake for breakfast. For dinner I eat meat with potatoes and sometimes I have pasta with tomatoes. In the evening I have meat with potatoes and drink tea and coffee with milk.

For breakfast I have cereal with milk and glass of juice. At dinner I have vegetables soup, and fish with potato. I do not have desserts, but I drink tea with lemon and sugar. For supper I have just a salad and then I eat fruit. I drink mineral water.
