Theme of the lesson – Happy birthday

Type - combined

Aim to the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

  • talk on the theme of the lesson

  • present a dialogue on the topic “Happy birthday”

Success Criteria :
1. I know:

- I know new lexis on the theme “Happy birthday”, know how to write it correctly and use in dialogues

2. I can:

- I can correctly name numbers (1 - 10), read words with “th”

- I can make up and present a dialogue asking my classmates about their age and

To develop:

  • students will develop memory, language guess, skills in listening, speaking

  • will be able to show off their creative abilities while working with the material presented

To bring up – to appreciate the students’ respectable attitude to the members of the families, to the teacher and their classmates
