Конспект урока английского  языка в 8 классе

Тема: «FOOD

Цель урока:

  • повторить лексику по теме «FOOD»;

  • повторить степени сравнения прилагательных (односложных, двусложных);

  • развивать навыки разговорной речи, используя лексику по теме «FOOD»;

  • развивать умение ориентироваться в чужой стране;

  • воспитывать чувство коллективизма, взаимопомощи друг другу;

 УМК:

кроссворд с домашними словами;

 карточки с разноуровневыми заданиями;

 таблицы;

 учебник, рабочая тетрадь

ХОД УРОКА:

I.      Организационный момент.

-        Hello, my dear children! I’m very glad to see you today! Sit down, please!

-        Who is on duty today?

-        What date is it today? What is the day today?

-        Is it cold or warm today?

-        Look at the blackboard: our topic today is "FOOD”. I think every student likes to go abroad, but not every student can ask and understand the foreigners. So, the main aims of our lesson  today are to repeat new words from the topic "FOOD”; to repeat grammar (degrees of comparison of adjectives); to make up dialogues.

- Now let’s check up your homework! You must learn new words. I suggest you to guess the crossword:

1. It’s a tough yellow food made from milk (cheese)

3. It’s a green vegetable with heads of small green or dark red-blue flowers (broccoli)

4. It’s a pear-shaped green fruit you eat as a vegetable (avocado)

6. It’s made from flour (bread)

7.  It’s eaten with milk for breakfast (cereal)

8. It’s a small long white seeds (rice)

9. It’s a kind of small pink sea animal that you can eat (prawn)

10. It’s a thick liquid food made from milk and often with fruit in it (yoghurt)

11. And our last word? Give me a discription of this word on example (strawberry)

        Let’s read the task (Слабый уровень – часть A, средний уровень – часть B, сильный   уровень –часть C) and all together – part D. I’ll give you 5 minutes.

-        Thank you very much for your work! 

VII.     Look at the blackboard! There are two pictures. I think, I’m a good painter. Do you agree with me? 

-        Similar or different? Make up sentences about the two restaurants. Use (not) as + adjective +as, using these adjectives.

-        For example: The Crystal Cafe is as big as Benny’s. 

-You are very clever students.

Homework:  - You should learn your dialogues by heart and dramatize.
