Цели игры:
Развивать неподготовленную речь учащихся.
Развивать креативные способности учащихся.
Воспитывать интерес к изучению предмета.
Обобщить страноведческие знания учащихся, полученные на уроках английского языка.
Образовательные задачи:
1. В ходе творческой, самостоятельной, индивидуальной и групповой работы с дидактическими материалами закрепить знания учащихся по изученным темам («Животные», « Погода» и др.) и расширить общий кругозор.
Развивающие задачи:
Развивать умение работать в коллективе и принимать совместное решение;
Развивать положительные личностные качества (ответственность, доброжелательность, чувство взаимопомощи).
Развивать и тренировать внимание, память, мышление. Воспитательные задачи:
1. Воспитывать уважение к культуре своей страны и стран изучаемого языка.
Ход занятия.
I. Оргмомент.
Good afternoon, children! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called “ Intellectual Marathon”. Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest.
II. Подготовительный этап
It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the first team? What's the name of your team? Who is the captain of the 2d team? What's the name of your team?
Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the
game. I have invited a competent jury to count the points. The member of our jury is your teacher. So let's start our competition.
III. Основной этап
