Урок английского языка в 6 «А» классе

Тип урока: урок открытия новых знаний

Тема урока: «Our free time» («Наше свободное время»).

Цель: Формирование лексических навыков по т. «Свободное время (Хобби и увлечения)» в различных видах речевой деятельности (говорение, чтение, аудирование, письмо).

Задачи:

1. Обучающая – активизировать лексические навыки по т. «Свободное время», научить рассказывать о своем хобби, увлечениях в свободное время с опорой на иллюстрации, тексты и лексические опоры.

2. Развивающая – развивать навыки и умения работы в парах и группах, развивать языковую догадку, творческие способности детей.

3. Воспитательная – повышать интерес к изучению английского языка, воспитывать культуру языкового общения, уважительного отношения друг к другу, умение внимательно слушать собеседника, воспитывать стремление с пользой проводить свое свободное время, способствовать созданию условий для эффективной коммуникации, сотрудничества, работы в команде.

Оборудование: УМК «Enjoy English» М.З. Биболетовой (6 класс), компьютер, проектор, экран, презентация, аудиозапись к уроку, наглядные пособия, карточки с заданиями (раздаточный материал), мэнэдж мэт.

Ход урока

  1. Мотивирование к учебной деятельности.

Цель: Создание положительного эмоционального настроя на работу.

Организационный момент.

T: Good morning, children.

PP: Good morning, teacher.

T: I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. And how are you?

PP: Fine, thanks. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. Are you ready to begin our lesson?

PP: Yes, we are ready.

T: Ok, let’s begin our unusual but very interesting lesson.

Цель: Активизация изученного материала необходимого для «открытия новых знаний».

T: Now, dear children, answer my questions.

PP: Today is Thursday.

T: What is the weather like today?

PP: Today is sunny and windy.

T: Have you got any hobby?

PP: Yes, I have got hobby.

PP3: My hobby is sport. I like to play football with my friends. I like sport very much. My favourite subject is Physical Education. I want to keep fit.

PP4: My hobby is drawing. I like drawing very much. My favourite subject is Art. Drawing is great. It makes our life interesting and happier.

T: Very good, children. All of you prepared very well.

Цель: Развитие у учащихся умения самостоятельно сформировать тему и цели урока.

T: Now, children, please look at the pictures and at the board. I think you guess what the theme of our lesson will be today.

PP: We’ll speak about hobbies and free time activities. That’s why the theme of our lesson will be “Our free time”.

T: I agree with you that watching TV, reading books, listening to music, playing football are hobbies.

But now, look at this word combination, ex. watching TV. Please tell me. What can you watch also?

What can you listen, collect, read?

T: Yes, you are right. You can watch TV, comedies, documentaries, feature films and cartoons. (Give the sheets of paper with new word combinations). Now, look at the board, read and repeat after me these names of hobbies and free time activities. So you can spend your free time.

Цель: Развитие навыков аудирования, устной речи и письма на основе изученных лексических единиц.

T: So children, now I think that you can easily guess the hobby. Let’s play the game “Guess the hobby” (looking at the board). You read some information about hobby and you guess what hobby is it. Are you ready? (give sheets of paper with information about hobby to each table).

PP: Yes, we are ready.

T: Ok, let’s read the first text –table №1, the 2nd text is table № 2 and the 3rd text is table № 3.

PP1: They can play football or hockey, swim or run very well. People like to go to the stadium or to the sports ground (It is sports).

PP2: Some people like to dance. Sometimes they go to the special clubs or dance at home. They like to go to a disco (It is dancing).

PP3: I know some people who like to watch different kinds of programmers or films on TV. Ex: Children usually like to watch films about animals (It is watching TV).

T: Very good, children.

Ok, now look at the board. Let’s do AR Guide. Look at the sentences and put these missing words.

PP1: This young Japanese likes making different musical instrument from fruit in his free time. He can make a flute from a banana during 5 minutes.

PP2: Usually women don’t have free time because they need to work, to do a lot of homework. But sometimes they like to make very unusual interesting cakes. These cakes are nice and delicious.

PP3: Look at these small figures. The first figure is a shoe, the second one is a button. They aren’t unusual. But look at them more attentively! These figures are made from pencils!

T: Excellent. Thanks.
