в 4 классе (совместно с учениками 7 класса)

«Экскурсия по Лондону»

Ход занятия.

(Проводят учащиеся 7-8 классов. Учитель помогает в случае крайней необходимости)

P1: Hello, everybody. Today we would like to show you our extracurricular activity. Let’s visit a City. You can see the map of the city. These are our citizens, tourists and our guests. OK. Let’s start.

P2: Imagine you are on the bus. We are your guides. I am...

I. Достопримечательности. Презентация

P1: There are a lot of places of interest in London. They are Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Big Ben, the Tower of London.

Big Ben is a clock in the tower and it is a big bell. Big Ben is really the bell which strikes every quarter of an hour.

P2: Look at Trafalgar Square! In the centre of Trafalgar Square there is a big column. At the top of the column there is a statue of Admiral Nelson famous for the Battle of Trafalgar.

  • P: We know a poem about London.

  • P2:Can you recite it?

  • P: With pleasure.

What is London for you and me.
Now we can see.
First of all it's The West End and maybe The City
And Londoners who are polite and witty.
Buckingham Palace where lives the Queen.
It's fresh green gardens and streets
Where all is clean.
It's the oldest London's Tower
And Black Ravens bringing London great power.
Trafalgar Square and Oxford Street
Where people can assemble and meet

-This is Buckingham Palace.

P1: The British Museum is one of the most famous museums in the world .It has a very rich collection. A lot of tourists visit this museum every year.

P2: This is the Tower of London. The Tower of London was a fortress, a castle, a prison and a zoo. Now it is the oldest museum in London.

P1: Are you tired? Let’s sing. (Песенка…)

P1: Hyde Park is the most important park in London. It is very beautiful. Londoners walk in the park, sunbathe, read, listen to music.

P2: Our excursion is over. Have a nice day.

Let’s play the game “Find the object”. Read it and start.

Раздать инструкции с командами, разделив учащихся на 3-5 групп.

  1. Turn right, go to the teacher’s desk. Stop. Turn left, go straight on to the cupboard. Stop. Turn right. Turn left. It’s in front of(впереди) you.

  2. Go straight on. Turn round, go across the classroom to the board. Turn right .Turn left. Turn left, it’s near the teacher’s desk.

  3. Turn left. Turn right, go straight on to the cupboard. Stop. Turn round, go to the door. It’s near the door.


  1. Go across the classroom to the door (дверь), stop. Turn round. Go straight on to the window. Turn right. It’s in front of (впереди) you. : (What is it?)-(the teacher’s desk)

-And now make up some sentences. Раздать слова на бумаге. Составить предложения

IV. Диалоги (How can we get…? – Go…, turn … )

P1: Let’s rest a little. Act out your dialogues.

  • We are hungry. Let’s go to the café.

Other children: - Do you like going to the museums?

  • Oh, yes. It’s so interesting.

  • Let’s visit the British museum then.

  • OK. We can ask a passerby.

  • Excuse me, madam. How can we get to the British museum?

  • Go down the street, turn right, go past the shop and you are there.


3 children: - We are in London. It’s great. Let’s go to Trafalgar Square.

  • OK. Do you know the way?

  • Let’s ask somebody.

  • I’ll ask the policeman.

  • Excuse me, sir.

  • Can I help you?

  • Yes. Can you show the way to Trafalgar Square?

  • Of course, I can. Go up this street, turn left and you are there.

  • Thank you.

  • You are welcome

V. Нарисуйте животное. Угадайте, что это?

Заранее написать на доске (если необходимо) : Is it …. ?

Draw an animal. Who is ready?

-Ask questions and guess. Children: ( Is it big, little, long, short, black? Is it a…?)

VI. Угадайте, какая игрушка есть у других ребят. (Вопрос Have you got a…?)

Close your eyes. I’ll give you some toys .Now you have got your toys. Guess what each group has got. Use: Have you got a…?( Написать вопрос на доске)

VII.Подведение итогов.

-Lets sum up our results. The group №…is the best. You are the winners.
