План урока по английскому языку в 10 классе к учебнику «Spotlight 10»

The River Thames”

Цели урока:

  1. Развитие коммуникативной компетенции учащихся в чтении, аудировании, монологической речи,

  2. формирование навыков говорения и аудирования;

  3. совершенствование навыков словообразования

Задачи урока:

  1. активизация лексики по теме «Отпуск. Путешествие» в коммуникативной деятельности учащихся в новых ситуациях,

  2. совершенствование навыков аудирования с извлечением основной и детальной информации,

  3. совершенствование навыков работы в группах,

  4. совершенствование навыков монологической речи,

  5. развитие толерантности по отношению друг к другу, способности к сотрудничеству,

Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, колонки, флеш-карточки, раздаточный материал





















Ход урока.

  1. Организационный момент.

Good morning. Glad to meet you. The weather today is wonderful. Don’t you think it’s a good day for a small trip. But I’d like you to tell me where we are going to after watching a short movie

(movie Walking along the Thames)

  1. Речевая зарядка.



Questions to pupils:

1) What is this movie about?

2) Who have you seen?

3) What have you seen?

4) What have you been feeling, while watching it?

As you’ve guessed our trip today will be along the Thames, the main river of London. While we are having our tour will continue speaking on the topic “Travelling”. You will learn new words, new interesting facts, improve your speaking, listening skills and grammar.



  1. Основная часть урока.

OK. Before we start I want you to learn some new words which are useful for our lesson. Look at the flashcards and try to explain the meaning or translate. (slide 2-6)



(учащиеся просматривают слайды и в группах обсуждают значение и перевод фраз на флеш-карточках)

So, know let’s play a game “What is missing?”

(учащимся предлагается закрыть глаза, в это время убирается одна из карточек. Ребята должны догадаться какая карточка отсутствует и произнести фразу) (слайд 7)



Fine. You are excellent! Now Let’s see how do you understand the meaning of the phrases. You’ve got just 2 minutes to match the phrase and its definition. (слайд 8)







So, today we’ll be tour-guides on a River Thames boat trip. We’ll see some of the London sights, and learn information about them. They are The London Eye, The London Dungeon, The Tower of London, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. (слайд 9)



4. Совершенствование навыков аудирования с извлечением детальной информации.



Pre-listening task (повторение словообразовательных суффиксов)

Lets revise rule of word formation, our listening task is based on.

Have a look at the slide. You see a table. There are some suffixes and prefixes (слайд 10)

Task 1 (identify suffixes of adjectives, adverbs and nouns)

On your desks you have a sheet of paper. Now I want you to work in pairs and try to form the correct derived word from the given words.

(учащиеся работают в парах, образовывают слова, используя предложенные суффиксы)

1. I think we use “-ing” for the words…..

2. I suppose we use “- ly” for the words….etc.

While-listening. Now let’s listen to the record about the sights you can see during the trip. You’ve got sheets of paper. While listening the record write down all new words and derived words which refer to each of the place. You will listen to the record twice.

(учащиеся слушают аудиозапись выписывают слова к каждой из достопримечательностей.)

After- listening task. (учащиеся сравнивают слова полученные в группах, со словами из аудиозаписи)

Now let’s check. (слайд 12)



The London Eye (bird’s eye view, the experience of a lifetime, thrilling, millennium)

The London Dungeon (scared out of your wits, faint-hearted, thoroughly)

The Tower of London (served many purposes, medieval, fortress, amazing, famous, usually)

Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre (burnt down, performance, it runs, educational, exhibition)



6.Физминутка

Now let’s have a rest. I’d like you to listen to a beautiful song. So, close your eyes and imagine that you’re in a boat, sitting on a board. The sun is shining, but it’s rather cool. You’re wrapping up in a warm blanket and you’re sailing along the Thames.

(Учащиеся прослушивают песню Michael Boren Wlliams — Walking Along The Thames)



Ok. Open your eyes. Tell me please what did you feel, hear, smell, see…?

1. I felt a fresh air of river.

2. I heard a boat horn and screams of birds

3. I saw people, standing on the bank and watching boats…..etc.

7. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи.



Thanks, so as I’ve told you before we’ll be tour guides. I would like you to open your books, where you have some information about the see sights. In groups make notes on the tourist attractions and use them to give your guided tour.



(учащиеся в группах составляют выступление для гида, который проводит экскурсию по Темзе, используя для опоры учебник)

Our lesson is coming to an end. I want you to summarize what interesting and useful things you have learnt on this lesson today.

It was difficult to represent a guided tour, to do listening comprehension.
