Materials: Hello & Goodbye songs, 2 balls (1 with mini cards on it), big poster, 8 fruit flashcards or toy fruit, 4 sets of mini cards, a rope, a box, a bag.

A ball with fruit cards on it
Action game. Take a rope or a long tape. 4 cards on each side, left and right (make the map on the board to let all children see where each fruit is). Elicit the names of all the fruit.
Then, they listen to the teacher who is naming the fruit and jump to the correct side.
Use the ball with small fruit cards stuck in it. Throw the ball and elicit names of the fruit in the construction “I like…”

2-3 sets of mini cards in the bag
Grouping. Children take a mini fruit card and try to find children with same card. The aim of a group or a pair is to say, “I like (fruit they have on the card)”. Repeat the procedure by changing cards.

Sitting in a circle, put a hand in the middle by naming any fruit they remember. Put all hands up and shout “yummy”.
Sing along a short Goodbye song.
