Цели урока:
Обучающая:
Расширить кругозор учащихся по теме « Дом. Среда обитания»;
Закрепить лексику по теме;
Развивать навыки устной речи, письменной речи (написание письма с предложениями).
Развивающая цель:
Развитие фонематического слуха учащихся;
Развитие умения аудировать речь учителя и речь одноклассников;
Развитие внимания учащихся.
Воспитательная цель:
Оснащение урока: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, презентация по теме , раздаточный материал.

Сообщение целей урока:
How do you like the video? It’s wonderful, isn’t it? And the cities are really beautiful, aren’t they? The dwellers of the cities can really be proud of them. The buildings, the residential areas, the monuments, squares, cathedrals, fountains- everything attracts the viewers’ attention.
Millions of people live and work there and call them their home, their motherland. I hope now you ‘ll tell me the theme of our lesson today? - “home, sweet home”. Yes, we’re going to speak about the place where we live and compare it to ah English home, what it is like, how we can improve it and even dare to make our suggestions to our local council about how to make our place more attractive.
To start with, let’s remember some very nice expressions to be used today.

Do you live in a little country house or do you have a flat in a block of flats?
What is your house like? How many rooms are there ? What rooms are they?
What is there in front of the house and behind it?
What is “ home” for you?
Now can you summarise what have been said and make a short story about your house?
T: I see that all of you value the house where you live, the place, which you call your home. And what about the Britains? What do you know about their houses? What else would you like to know? Please write three questions about what you want to know .
And now I suggest that we watch a short video and may be you’ll find answers to your questions.

8. T: Well, I see that you like the way English people live. No doubt, they have got some “weak points”, too. As for us, we do understand that the situation in our streets , in our towns leave much to be desired: dirty streets, a lot of litter, very little greenery…. What can we do to improve the situation? Imagine we are writing a letter to our local council on the problems of our village. What would you suggest to improve in order to encourage more young professionals to stay here? (см. « Приложение» 3)
9. Writing a common letter to the local council.
T: I hope the local council will hear you and they will find an opportunity and money to somehow improve the situation here. But let’s not forget : many things depend on the residents of our village. We shouldn’t stay indifferent to what is going on here, be involved in everything what can make life in Ishaki more attractive to families.
10. T: Unfortunately, our lesson is coming to its end and I’d like to know what you think of it. Here is a flower in my hand. It has seven petals. You must take one of them, turn it over and finish the sentences:

What is the aim of your letter?
Would you like to improve the situation in your area?
What do you think are the main problems here?( a shortage of housing, bad facilities, poor public transport network, lack of playgrounds for children, dirty streets and litter, few trees and no flower-beds)
What can be done to improve the situation?(to build new apartment blocks, to demolish run-down buildings, to improve public transport, to open a well- stocked library, a chemist’s, to create playgrounds for children, to repair the old houses, to plant more trees, to make living more attractive to young families)
