Topic 1: The things around us.

Конспект урока составлен по УМК Macmillan Science 1 by David Glover Pupil’s book + Activity book. Учебник предназначен для учащихся лицеев, гимназий, школ с углубленным изучением иностранных языков , в которых обучение английскому языку начинается с первого класса.

Цели:

обучающие: формирование навыков использования лексики по теме: живое / неживое, умение строить предложения;

развивающие: развитие речевых способностей (фонетическая и лексическая сторона речи), повышение мотивации к овладению иноязычной культурой;

воспитывающие: воспитание любви к природе, расширение кругозора учащихся;

Ход урока:

1) Орг.момент. Приветствие:

- Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you!

2) Речевая разминка:

- Look around our classroom. Can you name two things that are the same?

P: Chairs, desks, pupils books, activity books, cupboards.

- Very well. Now name two things that are different!

P: Erasers, pencils, exercise books, pens.

- OK, so you can see that we are surrounded by different things.

3) Постановка темы и целей урока:

-Look at the board and read the words.

- How are these things different?

P: Some are animals, school objects.

- So, some things can be living, others non-living. How do we know that something is living? Living things can breathe, grow, feed and move. Non-living things can’t do that.

THINGS:

- Today on our Science lesson we are going to talk about living and non-living things.

4) Работа по теме урока:

- Open your books at page 8, please. Look at the picture. What can you see in the picture? Name living things first.

P: Cat, dog, birds, people, horse, trees.

- All right. Now, name non-living things.

P: Houses, bike, cars, boat, lorry, skirt, plane.

- Look at page 9, please. Tell me, which things are living and which are non-living.

P: a) A stone is non-living. b) A tree is living. c) A house is non-living. d) An insect is living. e) A fire is non-living. f) A bird is living. g) A flower is living. h) A car is non-living. i) A fish is living. j) A radio is non-living. k) A worm is living. l) A cat is living. m) A boat is non-living.

5) Закрепление изученного материала:

- Now, lets do some exercises . Open your workbooks at page 4, please.

Ex.1 Look at the pictures. Circle the living things. Cross out the things that are non-living.

Living: b,d,e,g,h,I,k

Non-living: a,c,f,I,j,m

Ex.2 Draw a living thing. Draw something that is non-living.

6) Подведение итогов урока:

- What did we talk about today? What things around us can be?

P: Living and non-living.

- How do we know that something is living?

P: Living things grow, feed, move.

- Can non-living things grow?

P: No.
