Конспект урока английского языка в 7 классе

«East or West, Home is Best»


(по УМК Биболетовой М.З.)


Цель урока: развитие навыков говорения по теме; совершенствование речевых навыков.


Задачи урока:

1. формировать навыки устной речи; закрепить умения учащихся творчески применять полученные знания;

2. формировать нравственные, эстетические качества, любовь к родному дому;

3. развитие устной речи через обогащение словарного запаса.

План урока:

  1. Оргмомент

  2. Целеполагание.

  3. Этап подготовки учащихся к активному, сознательному усвоению знаний.

  4. Фонетическая зарядка

  5. Актуализация знаний.

  6. OK, let`s play a little. («Путаница»- «Mess»)

  7. Динамическая пауза. Игра «Слушай меня делай как я»

  8. Повторение лексики о доме.

  9. Обобщение и применение знаний на практике.

  10. Подведение итогов, задание на дом. Рефлексия.

Восток  или запад, а дома лучше всего.

В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше

Нет места подобного дому.

«Обойди хоть белый свет – лучше дома места нет»…

Досл.перевод: Чем дальше мы скитаемся, тем благосклоннее к дому.

Вы догадались, какой будет тема нашего урока? О чем пойдёт речь? (Ребята рассуждают)

Правильно, о доме. Мы изучили тему « Мой дом»? Что же нам предстоит на этом уроке? Да, действительно, сегодня мы должны закрепить и попробовать использовать полученные знания по теме «East or West, Home is Best» для рассказа о своём доме и его традициях.

Вам знакомы английские слова: house и home? Что они означают ?

Существует ли для для англичан и русских отличие в смысле этих понятий? (Дети рассуждают)

My Room

My flat is beautiful and sunny. It has got five rooms. They are two bathrooms, a kitchen, a bedroom and a living room. The living room is big and cosy. There is a big TV, a sofa and two armchairs in it. My mum and I love sitting there watching TV.
My favourite room is a bedroom. It is smaller than the living room. But it is my favourite place because it is warm and comfortable. There is a bed and two cupboards. My bed is red. It looks like a real car. You can see a computer and a small TV in my bedroom. The room has got an aquarium.There are a lot of exotic fish in it. Every day I feed my fish and my mum helps me to clean my room. I like doing homework and playing in my room.
I like my flat!


The house of which I dream.

A person’s home is as much a reflection of his personality as the clothes he wears, the food he eats and the friends he spends his time with. Everybody has in mind an “ideal house” and an “ideal home”. How do I see my “ideal house”, how do I see my life there?

There are many kinds of dwellings, from town houses, which include terraced houses, semi-detached, detached houses, to country houses.
I want to live in my own house, maybe in a cottage in the suburbs. My house will consist of the ground and the first floor. There will be six rooms in it. In front of the house I will have a small garden with different flowers. I’ll also have a garage for my car.
Here is a brief description of the house I dream of. My bathroom is very good-looking: the walls are tiled in cream, the washbasin, the toilet are pastel pink. My towels are also pink. Then I go to the kitchen to have breakfast. It is always pleasant to cook in it because it is very comfortable. I make my tea and sandwiches and have breakfast. Then I go to my work, but in the evening “there is no place like home”. I have rest in the living-room. I can sit on the sofa and read or watch TV. Then I go to the bedroom. It is my favourite room. Here I sleep and see my sweet dreams.

To make our flat clean and cosy we have to help our Mum about the house. Do you help your Mum?

8. Этап повторения лексики о доме.

You bought a new apartment. Go to a furniture store. We buy new furniture. Make a list of furniture for dining room, bedroom, living room, hallway, study, kitchen.

Living room – гостиная:

table — стол
rug — ковёр, коврик
armchair — кресло
chair — стул; кресло
lamp — лампа; фонарь; светильник
sofa — диван, софа
couch — диван, софа, кушетка
television — телевидение, телевизор
fireplace — камин, очаг

Kitchen - кухня

cupboard — буфет, сервант, горка, шкаф для посуды
cooker — кухонная плита; печь
oven — печь; духовка
stove — американский вариант — кухонная плита

microwave oven — микроволновая печь
sideboard — буфет; сервант

dishwasher — посудомоечная машина

washing machine — стиральная машина
fridge — холодильник

Study - рабочий кабинет
bookcase — книжный шкаф; книжная полка; этажерка
air conditioner — кондиционер воздуха
humidifier — увлажнитель
Bedroom – спальня:

вed-кровать

Bathroom - ванная комната.

9. Обобщение и применение знаний на практике.

But to describe your room we should revise the prepositions of place ( предлоги места).

На доске появляется опорная схема предлогов места: on, near, under, on the right (left), in front of, in the middle.

And now, work in groups and describe your own room. Make short dialogues like:

-What is there in the middle of the room?

-There is a carpet  in the middle of the room.

-Where is the TV-set?

- It is in the right corner.

Your rooms are great! And I have just moved into a new flat, there is such a mess in my living-room. Will you help me to bring everything  in order?

Say: Put the carpet on the floor.

Put the TV-Set into the right corner.

Put the sofa near the wall.

Now everything is OK. Thank you for your help. I invite you for a cup of tea.

What kind of tea would you like: English or Russian?

 English tea:    +        + milk.           Russian tea:  + lemon ,  sugar , jam, sweets                                                                                                                                                                                                

- I would like a cup of Russian tea with sugar (jam, sweets…)

- I would like a cup of English tea.

Учитель предлагает «чай» в чашках, , с «лимоном», «сахаром»…

Dear children, I`m so happy because I `ve got so many friends today. And when a person is happy, he sings. Let`s sing the song «If you are happy».



8. Подведение итогов, задание на дом. Рефлексия.



Thank you very much for the lesson. It was a real pleasure for me to work with you. But as people say : «East or West, Home is Best».
