Сценарий урока по английскому языку «Достопримечательности Лондона»

Цель: актуализация навыков коммуникативной компетенции.
Задачи:
образовательная – повторение и обобщение пройденного лексического материала по теме "Достопримечательности Лондона";
развивающая – развитие памяти, логического мышления;
воспитательная – содействие активному взаимодействию детей друг с другом, приобщение к культуре изучаемого языка.
Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации лексического материала.
Формы работы: фронтальная, индивидуальная, групповая.
Оборудование: УМК Биболетова 5 класс, интерактивная доска, мультимедийный проектор, презентация, аудиозапись, раздаточный материал.
Ход урока.
I. Орг. момент. Начало урока.
Hello, dear friends. Glad to see you! Take your seats. I wish you to have a good time at our lesson.
I have got wonderful news for you. This is an invitation letter from a girl Jessica. She invites us to visit her. But there's one problem. I can't understand the name of the city. Help me, please. Look at the screen and solve the puzzle. (Ребус)
So, we are going to visit London. We should know how to understand people around us and speak to them.
We must prepare for our travelling.
II. Основная часть
1. Актуализация изученного лексического материала.
There are many sights in London.
Look at the screen and put the letters in the right order.
- Let's check up. Who has mistakes? Correct them, please.
- Let's read these words loud.
-And what is the main word? (sight)
2. Введение новых лексических единиц по теме "Достопримечательности Лондона" и их первичная отработка.
- Do you know famous sights of London? (What sights do you know?)
a). Фонетическая разминка.
You have got the cards on your tables, take them, please and listen to and repeat after the speaker.(учебник стр.66 упр. 17)
b. Отработка употребления лексических единиц в речи.
- Look at the screen and match the words with Russian equivalents.
- Would you like to visit London? What sight would you like to see? (Fish bone)
3. Развитие диалогической речи.
Now work in pairs. One of you will be a correspondent, other will be a tourist. Ask would the tourist visit London? And what places would he or she like to see?

The clock tower is situated at the north end of the Westminster Palace in Central London and was built in 1859. The tower is known as Big Ben. The clock has 4 faces and a very big loud bell.
Buckingham Palace is the Queen’s official London residence. The palace was founded in 1705 by the Duke of Buckingham. The Palace is situated between The Green Park, Hyde Park and St. James’s Park.
Westminster Abbey is a church in London that is the place of coronation for English monarchs. It is situated near the Houses of Parliament. The Abbey was founded in the 11th century.

Good morning. I’m Jill and I’m your guide. Let’s begin our trip. We are coming now to church. It is a Gothic monastery church in London and it is the traditional place of coronation and burial for English monarchs. This place is located next to the Houses of Parliament in the heart of London. It was founded in the 11th century.
Now you can see the residence of the Queen and her family. This residence is between 3 parks: The Green, St. James’s and Hyde Park. It isn’t opened to the public. The palace was built in 1705 by the Duke of Buckingham.
And now we are making our way up the Thames to the Houses of Parliament. Look at the north end of the Westminster Palace. There is the Clock Tower. It’s one of the finest time-keepers in the world. The clock has 4 faces and a very big loud bell. The bell weighs 13 tons. This clock was founded in 1839.
