A Story about Two Friends

Once upon a time in the house at the top of a hill there lived two friends- Mr. Wiggle and Mr. Waggle.

One day Mr. Wiggle wakes up, opens his door (pop), comes out of his house, closes his door (pop). “ What a lovely day!” –he says. “ I think I should go and visit my friend Mr. Waggle.”

And so he goes down the hill and up the hill ( 3 times). And he comes to Mr. Waggle`s house. He knocks at the door: “Knock, knock, knock”- no answer, snor (храп). “ Never mind. He is still sleeping. I shouldn`t wake him up.” And so he goes down the hill and up the hill ( 3 times).

And he comes to his house, opens his door (pop), comes into his house, closes his door (pop) and goes to sleep.

On the other day his friend Mr. Waggle wakes up, opens his door (pop), comes out of his house, closes his door (pop). “ What a lovely day!” –he says. “ I think I should go and visit my friend Mr. Wiggle.”

And so he goes down the hill and up the hill ( 3 times). And he comes to Mr. Wiggle`s house.

The next day both Mr. Wiggle and Mr. Waggle wake up, open their doors (pop-pop), come out of their houses, close their doors (pop-pop). “ What a lovely day!” they say. “ I think I should go for a walk.”

And so they go down the hill and up the hill ( 3 times). They meet and hug. Thеу shake their hands and chat about the weather and about their wives. Then they say good-bye to each other and so they go down the hill and up the hill ( 3 times).

They come to their houses, open their doors /pop-pop/, come into their rooms, close their doors /pop-pop/ and both go to sleep.

That`s the end of my story. Snip-snap, snout – my story is out.
