P3>About Olympic Games?
T>Yes, of course. But why?
P4>I suppose, the main reason is that in February we celebrate the first anniversary of the Olympic Games.
T>Yes, that’s the reason. Who knows the exact date of the Olympic Games` beginning?
P5>If I am not mistaken it was on the 7th of February 2014.
T>And of course you know that Russia was the hostess of the Olympic Games. All Russian people were proud that Russia was chosen as a hostess country of the Olympic Games. Why do you think were they proud?
P1>It`s very honorable.
P2>It`s the reason to respect Russia more for all over the world.
T>Who knows when were the previous Olympic Games held in Russia?
P3>Of course we do. It was in 1980 in Moscow and it had a great success.

III. T>Why in your opinion was Sochi chosen as the centre of the XXII Olympic Games? Not Moscow? It would be more comfortable for people from many countries to come to Moscow not to Sochi. Moscow is situated in the centre of Russia.
P1>I think because of the geographical position of Sochi. It is situated in Caucasus and it is surrounded by the mountains. It is very comfortable for winter sports.
P2>Because of the climate. It is mild in Sochi. As far as I know it is snowy and cold in the mountains. It is good for winter sports such as biathlon, curling, slalom, skiing, skating, bobsleighing.
P3>Because Putin has got a datcha in Sochi. It`s comfortable for him to visit the Olympic Games.
IV.T>You are right as usual. But I want to listen to your opinion again. It is very good for Russia to be the hostess of the Olympic Games. But at the same time it can be not so pleasant. Why? Let’s divide into 2 groups and think what was good and if there were any difficulties for our country.

T>Who`s won? Friendship, as usual? I was in Sochi last summer. It had really changed. A lot of new roads were built, a great number of buildings was reconstructed. The railway station, the airport are so beautiful today!
