Развитие навыков устной и письменной речи.
Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи.
Введение в устную речь учащихся употребление возвратного местоимения each other.
Оборудование: постеры с пословицами.

Hello, pupils! How are you?
- Who is on duty today?
- Who is absent?
- What day is it?
- What date is it today?
You see our lesson and the quiz (I hope you have got ready for it at home) have the same title “How well do you know your friend?” We are going to do some exercises and then we’ll go on with the quiz. So, let’s start our lesson.
2. Фонетическая зарядка
- Now, I want you to know the pronoun “each other”. Местоимение each other переводится как – друг друга:
e.g. We see each other every day.
- Let’s try to do exercise 1. Complete the sentences. Use each other. Translate the sentences into Russian.
e.g. Friends should always help each other. – Друзья должны помогать друг другу.
3. Речевая зарядка
- Now, try to translate the sentences of exercise 2 into English.
e.g. Друзья всегда слушаю друг друга. – Friends always listen each other.
4. Quiz
- How close are you and your friend? Follow the chart and find out (see page 218).
5. Тренировка навыков письменной речи учащихся
What should real friends do? What shouldn’t they do? Write sentences with each other.
6. A Game “How well do you know your friend?”
- Name as many details of your friend’s appearance, character, interests and so on as you can.
7. Домашнее задание
- Our lesson is coming to an end. Your home task will be the following: exercise A at page 217 in your textbooks.
