План-конспект открытого урока английского языка в 8 классе

Общая тема: “Education

IV четверть

Дата урока: 21 апреля 2016 года

Тема урока: “Using a computer network”

Тип урока: комбинированный

Цели урока:

  1. учебные: активизация изученного языкового и речевого материала в чтении и устной речи учащихся;

  2. развивающие: развитие речевых навыков учащихся, развитие памяти, мышления и способности логически мыслить;

  3. воспитательные: создание условий для формирования умений высказывать своё мнение о компьютерных технологиях, развитие стремления толерантного отношения к окружающим людям.

Оснащение урока: классная доска, УМК Ю.Е.Ваулина “Spotlight” для учащихся 8 класса, компьютер, презентация.

Этапы урока:

I этап: Начальный этап урока:

  1. Организационный момент (приветствие и проверка присутствующих учащихся на уроке, дата):

Teacher: - Good morning, dear students! Good morning dear guests! Nice to see you! How are you? What is the date today? What is the weather like today? Who is absent for today? Turn to each other and smile, be positive and active, please.

2) Фонетическая и речевая разминки:

а) Введение в тему:

T: What is the theme of our lesson for today?

S: The theme of our lesson is using a computer network.

Teacher(T): - Today we are going to speak about using a computer network. The purpose is what are the advantages and disadvantages of using a computer network?(Слайд 1) I’d like to start with questions. Do you use a computer or laptop, mobile phones? How often?(Слайд 2)

Student(S): Yes we use it and very often.

T: Look at the slide. Which of the social networks do you use? (слайд 3)

S 1: It is………

S 2: It is ………

S 3: It is ……….

T: And what websites do you use in your free time or for your studying?

S: называют названия сайтов, которыми они пользуются дома.

II этап: Основная часть урока:

Цели:

- усвоение новых знаний и проверка ранее изученного материала

- усвоение новых знаний и применение приобретенных навыков и умений

- формирование умений и навыков и их применение на практике

Teacher: - Well done. So, open your students’ books on page 118-119, exercise 1. Look at the pictures A,B,C,D,E. (слайд 4-5-6) Where has each been taken? What do you think each person is using their computer for?

S1: Picture A is of an office. People are using their computers to do their work.

S 2: Picture B shows two people having a meeting somewhere. They might be in a meeting room or in a cafe. I think the man is using his computer to access some information.

S 3:Picture C shows some teenagers at school. I think they are doing some school work or playing the game.

S 4:Picture D shows some people in an internet cafe. They are probably checking their emails.

S 5:Picture E shows someone beside a cash register. I think she is in the accounts office of a shop. She is using the computer to check the sales for the day.

T: Well done! Now exercise 2. Look at the diagram in the text on page 119. (слайд 7) What is a computer network?

S: A computer network is a group of computers, software, and hardware that are all connected to help the users work together.

T: So let’s read the first sentence in the text and check your answer. Were you right?

S: Yes.

T: Let’s do ex.3 – match the words to their meanings below. Look at the pictures on the screen. It will help you. So the first word is software. (слайд 8)

S1: b computer programmes

T: the second word is hardware(слайд 9)

T: the third word is cabling system(слайд 10)

T: the forth word is data(слайд 11)

T: the fifth phrase is share files and resources(слайд 12)

S6: c copying someone else’s work and saying it is yours

T: the seventh is passwords (слайд 14)

S7: e secret entry codes

T: and the last is computer viruses (слайд 15)

S8: harmful programmes that destroy information in a computer system (слайд общий16)

T: Very good. So look at the pictures. There are signs. Create your own e-mail addresses or websites. Use your own ideas. You can use funny names, real names, serious names, everything. Please, you have 2 minutes. Then write down them on the blackboard.

S: пишут по очереди придуманные названия на доске.

T: So let’s have a rest. Stand up. (Физкультминутка) (слайд 17 и музыка)

read the text on page 119 and then do ex.4, true/false sentences (чтение текста, перевод некоторых фраз и выполнение упр.4 верно/неверно). (слайд 18) You have 3-4 minutes.

T: Good. So in ex.5 find words in the text which mean: follow the lines

Задачи: освоение тематической лексики; развитие умений поискового чтения.

Учащиеся просматривают текст ещё раз, и пытаются найти слова схожие по значению(синонимы). You have 2 minutes.

III этап: Заключительный этап урока:

Teacher: Good of you! Now look at the text again and try to tell the class the advantages and disadvantages of using a computer network?

S1: When using a computer network you should be responsible and think about other users. You should use it only to help you with your studies and make sure you follow safety procedure to protect the network from computer viruses.


S2: - You should not share computer passwords, not should you overuse online connection time or printers. You should never use it for anything illegal, unethical or dishonest and you shouldn’t install any software without permission.

Рефлексия:

Teacher: - Today we have tried to understand how to use a computer network, how it works. I hope, you’ve learned much and were positive. So at the table you have cards of different colours. If you like the lesson the colour is green, dislike - red , indifferently - yellow. I’m pleased with your work.
