отработать употребление шести лексических единиц по теме “Природные катастрофы” в речи учащихся;
развивать навыки устной речи, аудирования;
совершенствование навыков монологической речи; умение логично и связано высказываться; умение анализировать и выражать свое мнение, описывать происходящие события;
Речевой материал:
Лексический - материал, усвоенный на предыдущих уроках, шесть лексических единиц по теме
Оборудование: Student’s book (Биболетова М.З., Трубанева Н.Н. Enjoy English 8 ), компьютер, аудиозапись, видео, доска, проектор, презентация.
Ход урока
Организация класса. Teacher: Good morning. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. How are you today? Who is on duty today?
What date is it today?
What day is it today?
Who is absent today?
Do you have news?
Работа над лексическим материалом
Знакомство с новыми словами (пишется, звучит, значит).
So, let’s start our lesson. Look at the blackboard, there are some words, listen to me and repeat after me.
Тренировка (или первичное закрепление).
1) I’d like to show you some pictures that you can see. Look at them and tell me what natural disasters you can see there. Match the pictures and the letters. (Answers: a – volcano, b- tornado, c –drought, d- flood, e – hurricane, f - earthquake). [pic] [pic] [pic]

2) Name the disaster:

В) Now we’re going to watch a short but interesting video and you’ll have to answer some of my questions. Let’s start watching.

4. What the engineers focus on today?

These disasters are happened all over the world and now we shall listen to the tape and you will fill in the table. Look at the blackboard. There are 3 columns. Listen to the tape very attentively and fill in the necessary information. This fact you will write down. We’ll start. Учащиеся слушают запись 2 раза и заполняют таблицу.
