Hi, Dear friends!
I’m writing this letter from England. My name is Nell Smith. I’m thirteen years old. I go to a secondary comprehensive school in London. Our school is very large and we have very many teachers and pupils. My school is a three-storeyed building. It is quite big with sport ground behind it, inside swimming pool. On the groundfloor there are the classrooms for the primary-
school pupils, workshops, library. There are all kinds of tools and machines in the workshops. The boys of our school have a woodwork room too. There is a room for manual works for girls.Teachers teach them how to cook, sew and design clothes. We go to school five days a week, from Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday we have a holiday. My lessons start at 9 o’clock. We have five lessons. After two lessons we have a break. We drink our milk. At school I learn thirteen subjects: English, Mathematics, French, German, Science, history, geography, needlework, art, games, physical training, music and religious instruction. School ends at 3.40 and I usually go home. When I get home I start doing my homework. I love my school very much and my school is my ideal school. Friends, write about or draw your ideal school and send me! I wait for your letters!
