Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. How are you today? Who is on duty today? Who is absent? Let’s start the lesson now.

What sportsmen do you like?
What singers do you listen to?
What actors do you prefer? What are they famous for?
Why are they famous? Why do you like them?

Today we will revise the comparative and superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs. How do we form them? Study the examples:
Wide-wider-the widest
Big- bigger-the biggest
Narrow-narrower-the narrowest
Ugly-uglier-the ugliest
Beautiful-more beautiful – the most beautiful
Hard-harder-the hardest
But good/well-better-the best
Bad/badly-worse-the worst
Much-more-the most
Little-less-the least
Far-farther-the farthest
Read and translate the sentences (ex.3), compare as in the example (ex.4).

Listen to the recording, put the adjectives in to the correct form and decide if the statements are true or false.
