THE PLAN OF THE LESSON

The theme of the lesson: Would you like some juice?


The Objectives of the lesson:


1. The educational aim:

a) To acquaint students with the new words and

consolidate them in different forms of activities.

b) To revise the Material in different forms of activities.

c) To consolidate the Material in different forms of activities

2. The developmental aim:

a) To enrich students’ vocabulary the students’ oral speech.

b) To develop the students’ skills in Writing

c) To develop the students’ skills in speaking

d) To enrich students’ vocabulary


3.The educative aim:

a) To educate young people to respect other nations

b) To educate young people to be honest, truthful, open- hearted

c) To teach the students to be on friendly terms with their classmates


The equipment: textbook, workbook, blackboard, active board, puzzle, pictures, juice, fruits.

I. Grammar. Today we have a new word expression:

Would you like…?/ Do you like…?

Сен қалайсың ба...? / Сен ұнатасың ба...?

Look at the active board and repeat:


-Would you like an orange?

-I’d like one.


-Would you like some juice?

-No, thanks.


-Would you like some salad?

-I’d like.


-Do you like an orange?

-Yes, I do.


-Do you like pizza?

-No, I don’t


II. Presenting vocabulary. Look at the active board. There are new words.

III. Reading the dialogue. Open your books on page 126. Ex.2 Let’s read a dialogue and translate.

Work with pictures of new words: I’ll give you pictures of foods, drinks and words. You must match the words and pictures.

IV. Work with pictures and new words. I’ll give you pictures. Make up a dialogue using word expression Would you like…?/ Do you like...? and new words.

-Would you like some juice?

-No, thanks. I don’t drink juice.

-Do you like coffee?

-Yes, I do. It’s wonderful for me!


-Would you like an orange?

-Thank you. I’d like one.

-Do you like pizza?

-No, I don’t. But it’s good. And you?

-I like salad. It’ good.


-Would you like apple juice or orange juice?

-I’d like apple juice. It’s delicious.

-Do you like lemonade?

-No, I don’t. And you?

-I like coca-cola. It’s interesting.


V. Game: All of you come to the board and you must say word, only food or drink. If you can’t say or forget you will be out of the game.


Revision:

VI. Active vocabulary (foods and drinks). Let’s repeat active vocabulary. Look at the board, there is a puzzle. Find out words.

VIII. Consolidation: We know British meals and drinks. Look at the active board. There are some Kazakh national drinks: kymyz, katyk, shubat, milk. Foods: beshbarmak, zhal-zhaya, kurt, baursak.
