Цели: развитие навыков изучающего чтения по теме «Семья и друзья»; активизация навыков устной речи; закрепление лексических навыков и навыков перевода.
Оборудование: карточки со словами по теме «Семья и друзья»; наборное полотно.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент
- Good morning, boys and girls! (Goodmorning, Maria Petrovna!)
- I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)
- How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)
- I am fine, thank you. Who is absent today? (All pupils are present.)
- Let's remember our new poem to greet each other. Listen to me, please.
It's time to say "Hello!" (Hello!) It's time to say "Hello!" (Hello!) It's time to say "Hello!" (Hello!) And start our lesson.
II. Фонетическая зарядка
- You can see two columns of words on the blackboard. Will you read them aloud, in a whisper? Let's read them after Kate. Can you match the words from the first column and the second one to make up the word combinations?
Учитель привлекает внимание детей к карточкам со словами, которые выставляются в два столбика на наборном полотне. Ученики читают слова хором и по одному, громко и шепотом, повторяют слова хором за одним учеником. Затем учитель предлагает учащимся соотнести слова из первого и второго столбиков и составить словосочетания.

IV. Проверка домашнего задания
We can see that you have different opinions about families and friends. Some pupils say that the family means a lot for them and their relatives are more important to them than friends. Other children think that friends are everything for them. Open your textbooks, page 21, exercise 30. Let's remember the texts we read yesterday. You will read the sentences to prove my ideas. 11осле проведения речевой разминки учитель предлагает учащимся вспомнить тексты из упр. 30, стр. 21 из учебника. Задание i in учеников - найти и прочитать из текста предложения, которые иол I верждают высказывания учителя. Примерные утверждения учителя:

4. Catherine thinks that it is difficult to find a real friend.

V. Физкультминутка
Учитель предлагает учащимся вспомнить ранее разученное стихотворение и рассказать его, выполняя соответствующие движения. Физкультминутка проводится кем-либо из учеников по желанию.
VI. Закрепление лексических навыков и навыков перевода
- It's time to look through the text again and find the sentences with -ing forms. It's exercise 31, page 22 in your textbooks. Will you read the task? Who is ready to read the sentences an translate them?
Учитель предлагает ученикам открыть учебники на стр. 22, упр. 31. После чтения задания данного упражнения учащиеся зачитывают вслух предложения с -ing формами и переводят их.
VII. Активизация навыков диалогической речи
- I'd like you to work in pairs. Look at the task of exercise 32, page 22 in your textbooks. You will prepare two questions and ask your partner to answer them. We shall discuss the role of family and friends in our life.
Учащиеся делятся на пары для выполнения упр. 32, стр. 22 из учебника. Ученики работают в паре в течение 2-3 минут, а затем представляют свои варианты мини-диалогов по теме «Семья и друзья».
Примерные вопросы учащихся:
1. Can you find real friends easily?
2. Are your parents ready to help you in a difficult situation?
3. Do you always follow your parents' advice?
4. Have your friends ever betrayed you?
5. Do you appreciate your friends' advice?
6. Do you and your parents see the world in the same way?
7. What do you and your friends like doing together?
8. How often do you quarrel wit your friends (parents)? Etc.
VIII. Активизация навыков монологической речи
- It is interesting to find out your opinion about the ideas of the teenagers from exercise 30, page 21. You will work in groups of 4 and comment on each of the texts. The beginnings of the sentences from exercise 33, page 22, will help you to share your ideas. Don't forget to give the arguments to prove your opinion.
