Командное соревнование по теме «Лондон».

A team competition in English on the topic “London”


Цель: развитие интереса к изучению английского языка через игру при изучении темы «Лондон».

Соревнование между двумя командами проходит в виде путешествия по Лондону. Команда, одержавшая победу в конкурсе, получает жетон. После проведения всех конкурсов команды подсчитывают количество жетонов и выявляют команду – победительницу.


Вводная часть


Teacher: Good – morning, children. How are you?

I’m glad to see you. I hope you are all fine today.

1) Организационный момент: приветствие, ознакомление с темой и целью урока.

Today we are going to have a competition in English on the topic “London” between 2 teams from different groups. We’ll have a trip on a red double-decker around London.

2) Well, let’s start. First, I’d like you to watch a video about London.

После просмотра видео - беседа с учащимися: Is London a beautiful city? Would you like to visit it? Why?

3) Look at the words of the famous English poet Samuel Johnson. He lived in the 18th century. He said

When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life”. Do you agree with this saying?

London is without doubt one of the most wonderful cities in the world.


Конкурсные задания


1) Let’s start our competition. The double-decker is coming to the bus stop where you should make up words.

5) Let’s play Bingo! Write down the words from the slide in 9 free squares. I’ll read the opposites and you will cross the adjective on your sheets of paper. The first team who crosses out the words will win. Who will be lucky?
