William I started this place in 1081. English queens and kings lived there. Now it is a museum. There you can meet the famous Beefeaters in their traditional uniforms. The palace is a very popular attraction for tourists since 1993. Visitors can see 19 rooms. The Changing of the Guard starts at 11.30 every day in summer and every day in winter. It is a theme park in England. Opening party starts in March. People play games, take part in competitions and win prizes. In April you can meet a sports star, TV or pop star. In August you can listen to classical music concert and enjoy fireworks. And in October take rides absolutely free and take part in exciting attractions!

The Clyde Strike of 1919 was one of the greatest in Britain. Over 100,000 workers took part in it, fighting against the police and the army. Glasgow is a great Scottish city.
