Урок 1

Введение. Американский английский язык.

Цели и задачи урока:

  1. Ознакомить учащихся с задачами обучения английскому языку в 9 классе, с новым учебным комплектом и его составными частями.

  2. Рассказать об основных требованиях к предмету в новом учебном году.

  3. Тренировать навыки говорения.

Оборудование: иллюстрации по теме «Соединенные Штаты Америки»

Фонетический материал: official, capital, American, to consist, English, difference, money, cents, empire, subway, to include, speed, torch, atmosphere, tickets, to transfer.

Ход урока

  1. Приветствие и орг.момент

-Hello, friends, glad to see you again! How are you? I suppose, everything is all right. How did you spend your holidays? Did you have a great time? Did you go somewhere?

  • Let`s train some sounds, which can be necessary to us. So, please, repeat the poem after me

What will you give me?

What will you give me for my proud?

Full twenty shillings round.

What will you give me for my shilling?

Twelve pence to give I`m willing.

  • To begin with we must remember some things about America. To do this let us do exercises from page 4 of your book.

  • Now we are going to speak about the United States. Let`s check up what we know about this country. And let`s check up your knowledge about the history of the country.

Употребление артикля с существительными bed, church

Цели и задачи урока:

  1. Провести повторение основных времен английского глагола и лексических единиц предыдущих лет обучения

  2. Ввести новый грамматический материал (употребление артикля с сущ-ми church, bed, hospital, school)

  3. Тренировать навыки чтения и говорения.

Оборудование: грамматические таблицы по основным временам английского глагола

Лексический материал:bed, church, college, university, prison, hospital.

Ход урока

  • Hello, everybody! Glad to see you. How are you? Let`s begin our lesson npw.

Answer my questions, please:

1. Where did you go in summer?

2. What towns did you visit?

3. Did you go to some other countries?

4. Did you like staying there?

5. Do you have a dream to visit America?

  1. Совершенствование навыков чтения

  • Exercise 5 on page 6.

  1. Предтекстовый этап. Повторение лексики:British, American, Russian, family, relatives, flight, brothers, sisters, cousins.

  2. Далее учащиеся прослушивают текст и читают его по ролям.

  1. Повторение употребления артикля

- Случаи употребления артикля с существительными church, school, bed, university.

- Exercises 7-8 on page 8.

- Exercises 1, 2, 3 on page 4.

Нью-Йорк

Цели и задачи урока:

  1. Практиковать учащихся в употребление артиклей с названиями городских объектов

  2. Ознакомить с лексикой, обозначающей достопримечательности Нью-Йорка и отработать ее употребление в речи

  3. Практиковать учащихся в аудировании, говорении и чтении.

Оборудование: иллюстрации с видами Нью-Йорка, карта города, таблица на употребление артиклей, диск с материалами урока.

Фонетический материал: Manhattan, Brooklin, Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx, the Hudson, Central Park.

Ход урока

  1. Приветствие и орг.момент

  • Good morning, glad to see you again! Today we`ll speak about one of the biggest cities in the world – New York. It is sometimes called «The Big Apple». New York is famous for its Empire State Building and Broadway, the skyscrapers and Brighton Beach. We know a lot about them, and, I think, it will be interesting for us to know some new facts about well-known things.

So, let`s travel through New York and discover some useful information about the city.
