Christmas in Great Britain.
Christmas is a home and family holiday in Britain. It is celebrated on the 25 of December.
As Christmas nears, everyone buys Christmas presents for friends and relatives. Children write letters to Santa Claus. In letters they tell Santa what they want and promise to be good in the comming year. There is a Christmas tree in every house and the family decorates it together.
On Christmas Eve all the family is together. They drink hot chocolate by the Christmas tree and talk about Christmas miracles. On the morning of 25 December children find a lot of presents in their stockings. Then the family has Cristmas dinner. There is always a turkey and Christmas pudding on the table.
