Тема урока: « Cпорт »

Цели урока: 1.Практические: активизация лексики по теме «Болезни и спорт»

2. Обучающие:

- введение и активизация лексических единиц по теме;

- Совершенствование навыков чтения ;

- формирование навыка выражения своего мнения в диалогической речи

2. Развивающие:

- расширение кругозора учащихся;

- развитие языковой догадки;

- развитие интереса к языку;

- социокультурное развитие;

3. Воспитательные

- развитие у учащихся навыков здорового образа жизни;

- снятие языкового барьера.


Оснащение урока:

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент

1. Приветствие

Good morning, my dear friends! How are you today? Are you OK?

- Let’s begin our lesson. At first greet your face partners, then your shoulder partners, our guests and me. - I’m glad to see you. Sit down.

2. Совместное целеполагание

СЛАЙД 1. Our topic is “Misfortune in sport”. Let’s start with the words of a English proverb « An apple a day keeps the doctor away». Will you translate them, they are very wise. Thank you.

СЛАЙД 2.

What are we going to do today? We are going to read English texts, speak about misfortune in sport and express our opinions about the health.

2. Фонетическая разминка

Использование структуры Джот Тотс. (Jot Thoughts)

-So let’s start. Dear students, on your tables you have cards. Each of us has to take four cards and to write down four words, which associate with the school (for example: fall, fit, food, sore, treat, headache and so on.) Now, let’s start! СЛАЙД 3.

-Almaz, would you like to read your words?

-Team number 1 speaker number 3, it’s your turn to read all the words. Excellent, thank you!

3. Речевая разминка

Now you will agree or disagree with me. Listen to me carefully. If I am right, repeat my sentence. If I am not right, disagree with me.

Учитель организует игру «Согласись - не согласись». Ученики встают в круг. Учитель кидает мяч по очереди каждому из учеников и произносит предложения, с которыми учащиеся соглашаются или не соглашаются.

Примерные предложения:

You don't like being ill. (I agree with you. I don't like being ill.)

If a person has got flu, he/she stays in bed. (I agree with you. If a person has got flu, he/she stays in bed.)

If a student has got a sore throat, he should go to school. (I disagree with you. If a student has got a sore throat, he should not go to school.)

When a person has got a backache, he goes to the dentist. (I disagree with you. When a person has got a backache, he goes to the doctor.)

People need vitamins to be healthy. (I agree with you. People need vitamins to be healthy.)

We seldom cough when we've got a cold. (I disagree with you. We often cough when we've got a cold.)

People should do morning exercises to keep fit. (I agree with you. People should do morning exercises to keep fit.) Etc.

4. Развитие навыка устной диалогической речи. Использование структуры Мix Pair Share

-Now let’s continue our work. I would like you to stand up, move your chairs. Let’s mix! Stand in pairs. Give five each other. Look at the questions from exercise 55, page 112 in your textbook. Think it over and start discussing using Relly Robin (or Timed Pair Share).

Примерные вопросы и ответы учащихся:

What do you do when you fall ill? (When I fall ill my parents sent for a doctor.)

Do you like being ill? (No, I don't. I don't like being ill.)

What does the doctor do when he/she comes? (When the doctor comes he/she takes my temperature and examines me.)

Who looks after you when you are sick? (My mother usually looks after me when I am sick.)

What do you like doing when you are sick? (I like watching TV and playing computer games when I am sick.)

What do you hate doing when you are sick? (I hate taking medicine when I am sick.)

Do you take care of your parents/sister/brother when they are sick? (I take care of my relatives when they are sick.)

What do you do? (I cook dinner, go to the shop, give them medicine and do what my relatives want.)

Would you like to become a doctor/a dentist/a nurse? Why? Why not? (I don't want to be a doctor, a dentist or a nurse because I am afraid of blood. It is difficult for me to take care of sick people.)

Закрепление навыков чтения по теме «Здоровый образ жизни»

I am sure your relatives and friends tell you funny stories about visiting a doctor. Let's read some jokes and choose the funniest one. It's exercise 53, page 111.

Now I want you to work in groups. Each group is given a short text. Which of these jokes is the funniest one? Share your opinion in your group using Single Round Robin.


Учитель предлагает учащимся прочитать шутки из упр. 53, стр. 111 из учебника и выбрать самый смешной рассказ. Также на данном этапе урока выполняется упр. 54, стр. 112.

5.Физкультминутка

Физкультминутку проводит дежурный ученик.

I am a little teapot,

Short and stout,

Here is my handle,

Here is my spout.

When the tea is ready

Give me a shout,

Then tip me up

And pour me out.

6. Совершенствование навыков чтения

The next task for us is exercise 56, page 112 from your textbooks. We shall work in two variants. The first variant will read the first part and the second variant will read the second one. Your time is up. The pupils from the first variant will ask the pupils from the second variant about their part of the story. Now the second variant will ask the questions. Read the partner's part to check what you've learned from your classmates.

7.Развитие навыков монологической речи на материале текста

Look through the text again and find the word combinations that describe Nick's feelings. Who has found the first word combination? Will you read the task of exercise 19, page 121 from your textbooks and complete the sentences, please. Think-Write-Round Robin

8. Рефлексия.
