для школ с углубленным изучением английского языка

Тип урока: комбинированный урок

Цель урока: развитие социокультурной и коммуникативной компетентностей

по теме «Путешествие в Канаду»

Образовательные задачи :

активизировать лексику по теме: «Канада»

совершенствовать навыки речевой деятельности ( монологической,

диалогической и аудирования)

актуализировать страноведческий материал по теме: «Канада»

Развивающие задачи:

развивать творческие способности; способности к сравнению и

обобщению

развивать память, внимание, мышление

развивать способность осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия.

Воспитательные задачи:

расширение кругозора учащихся

формирование способности работать в группе, команде



Оснащение урока: проектор, компьютер, презентация «О Канаде»,

раздаточный материал (карточки с ответами, таблицы

Factfile), карта Канады и России.











Ход урока

I.Организационный момент

Приветствие

Teacher: I’m glad to see you, students!

How are you? Are all present today?

Are you ready for the lesson?

Student: We are fine. Thank you. We are all here. Sure, we are ready for the

lesson.

II.Постановка цели урока

Teacher: Thanks. Let’s start.

We began studying the topic “Canada” at the previous lesson.

What do you think we are going to do today?

Student: Will we continue our work at the topic “Canada”? Our homework was to

prepare some information with illustrations on Canada.


Teacher: You are right. Many people on holidays enjoy travelling, don’t they?

Student: Sure they do. My family always spends our holidays going somewhere.

That’s great!

Student: Travelling is a good way to relax, I think

Student: I believe when people travel, they broaden their knowledge of history,

culture, customs, traditions and the way of life in different places.

Student: I wish I could travel to Canada, the country we are studying .

Teacher: That’s a good idea! We’ll be able to feel at ease in all circumstances if

we learn about this country more.

Student: To my mind, we should revise not only information but grammar and

vocabulary as well.

Teacher: Excellent! So the aim of our lesson is to develop our speaking skills on

the topic “Travelling round Canada”

Every traveller usually makes notes of his travelling. While listening to

your classmates, please, fill in Fact file. They are on your desks.

Аннотация

Представляю конспект открытого урока в 8 классе по теме «Канада»

к учебнику английского языка «English - VIII» для школ с углубленным изучением английского языка под редакцией О. В. Афанасьевой, И.В. Михеевой. Тема урока: «Путешествие по Канаде». Данный урок является логическим продолжением работы над текстом о Канаде и ряде коммуникативных упражнений. Тип урока: комбинированный урок. Цели урока: личностные - развитие социокультурной компетенции, творческих способностей и расширение мировоззрения учеников; метапредметные – развитие УУД; предметные – развитие коммуникативной компетенции. Формы работы: фронтальная, групповая, парная, индивидуальная. Ожидаемый результат: обобщение и систематизация лексического, грамматического и страноведческого материала по теме; развитие творческих способностей; способность к совместной работе в группе;



Ожидаемые результаты:

Личностные: осознание возможности самореализации средствами иностранного языка, стремление к совершенствованию речевой культуры, развитие творческих качеств личности, уважительное отношение к культурам двух стран.

Метапредметные: формирование навыка сотрудничества для поиска и обобщения информации.
