по теме: «Путешествие по Соединённому Королевству Великобритании и Северной Ирландии»
Класс: 6А,6Б
Цели:
Формирование речевой компетенции в основных видах речевой деятельности: аудировании, письме и говорении по теме «Travelling».
Развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков по теме «Путешествие»: умение составлять монологическое высказывание и диалог – расспрос.
Активизация употребления страноведческой лексики в устной речи.
Задачи:
Общеобразовательные: формировать культуру общения, умение понимать английскую речь, способствовать расширению лингвистического кругозора обучающихся.
Развивающие: развивать логическое мышление, память, творческие способности, навыки выразительного чтения, положительную мотивацию к изучению английского языка.
Воспитательные: воспитывать уважение к культуре, традициям и реалиям стран изучаемого языка.
Здоровьесберегающие: создать комфортные условия для сохранения здоровья обучающихся: смена видов деятельности, исполнение песен, двигательная активность.
Тип урока: обобщение и систематизация знаний и умений.
Оснащение: фонограммы песен, костюмы, тематическая наглядность в форме компьютерной презентации, проектные работы обучающихся, дидактический раздаточный материал (карточки для работы), картинки мусорной корзины, мясорубки, чемодана и геометрические фигуры разного цвета для оценивания информации урока.
Ход урока.
I. Оргмомент.
Teacher: Hello, dear friends!
Students: Hello, dear teacher!
Teacher: I am glad to see you!
Students: We are glad to see you too.
Teacher: How are you?
Students: Fine, thank you! And you?
Teacher: Fine too, thank you! Sit down, please!
Where are your textbooks?
Students: Here they are.
Teacher: Where are your workbooks?
Students: Here they are.
Teacher: Where are your diaries?
Students: Here they are.
Teacher: Are you ready for the lesson?
Students: Yes, we are.
Teacher: What date is it today?
Student: Today is …
Teacher: Who is absent today?
Student: Nobody is absent today. All students are present today.
Teacher: Let’s start our lesson. Today we have an unusual lesson. We have guests here. But don’t be afraid. Take it easy, feel comfortable and try to show all your knowledge. I am sure you can.

IV. Активизация монологической речи обучающихся. Развитие навыков аудирования и говорения.
Teacher: Yes, you are right. Travelling is the best way to study different countries.
Teacher: We invite you on our “Trip around the UK”. (Слайд 3). The official name of this country is…
(отвечают дети: the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland). As you know the UK has 4 parts. They are… (отвечают дети). (Слайд 4).
Your home task was to do projects. Every group has chosen the country that is interested.
Teacher: Let’s start our trip. We travel to England. (Cлайд 5).
Student 1: Our project is about England. England is a very interesting country. The capital is London. Big Ben is the symbol of the city. (Слайд 6). There are beautiful cities: Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton.
Student 2: Liverpool is a big port. It has the famous Beatles museum. (Слайд 7). The Beatles were the most popular group in the 1970s. (Слайд 8). I want you to listen to a song of this group. It is called “Yesterday”. (группа обучающихся исполняет песню).
Student 3: Manchester is known for two football teams: Manchester United and Manchester City. (Слайд 9,10).
Student 4: Brighton is popular place for holidays. (Слайд 11). It is a centre for conferences and exhibitions. (Cлайд 12)
Teacher: Let’s go to Scotland. (Слайд 13)
Student 5: Scotland has many beautiful lakes and green hills. The most famous is Loch Ness. (Cлайд14)
Student 6: The culture of Scotland has its traditions. (Cлайд 15). One of these is the kilt. On the national days Scottish men wear kilts. A famous Scottish instrument is the bagpipe.
Student 7: The most important cities are Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen. (Cлайд 16). Edinburgh is the capital. Glasgow is the shipbuilding centre. Aberdeen is the biggest oil centre.
Student 8: Scotland is connected with the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns. (Слайд 17). He wrote many beautiful poems about nature of this country. For example, “The Highlands”
Students 9,10: (выходят и читают стихотворение «The Highlands»)

Teacher: The next country is … Wales. (Слайд 18).
Student 11: The capital is Cardiff. The symbol of Wales is the Red Dragon and the national flower is a daffodil. (Слайд 19).
Student 12: The national game is rugby. Welsh people like to watch rugby matches. (Слайд 20).
Student 13: There are many waterfalls in Wales. The biggest has a height of seventy four metres. (Слайд 21).
Teacher: The last country of our trip is …Northern Ireland. (Слайд 22).
Student 14: The capital is Belfast.( Слайд 23). There are a lot of museums. Historical museums discover new facts about the Navy, Sea Battles and shipbuilding. (Слайд 24).
Student 15: Science museums have a big collections of aeroplanes and ships. In some museums you can see wax models of famous film stars and pop singers.
V. Физминутка.
Teacher: Let’s have a rest.
Hands on your hips,
Hands on your knees,
Put them behind, if you please,
Touch your shoulders,
Touch your nose,
Touch your ears,
Touch your toes.
Raise your hands into the air,
To the sides, on your hair,
Raise them up as before,
While clapping – “One, two, three, four”.
VI.Развитие навыков и умений устной речи: вести диалог- расспрос.
Teacher: Your stories were useful. The next task is to work in pairs and tell the places you would like to visit. The cards on the desks can help you to make up your dialogues. I give you 3 minutes. Дидактический раздаточный материал (карточки для парной работы) находится на столах. Обучающиеся готовят двусторонний диалог – расспрос.

-It’s interesting to meet new friends/ to see famous sights/ to discover new places / to visit the capital of the country etc.

VII. Развитие навыков письменной речи: систематизация знаний обучающихся об англо-говорящих странах в форме теста.
Teacher: We suggest you to guess the quiz. The task is to complete the sentences. You have 3 minutes.

VIII. Рефлексия.
Teacher: It is time to finish our lesson. Thank you for your work. You were active today. Your work was great and can deserve good excellent marks. Now I want you to express your opinion about the lesson. You have got some information about the UK. On the blackboard you can see a suitcase, a meat chopper and a waste – paper basket. The suitcase means you can use all received information in your next lessons. The meat chopper means you can recycle some information and choose necessary facts for you. The waste – paper basket means you want to get rid of received information because it is not useful for you in future. Come to the blackboard and appreciate our lesson.
На доске висят рисунки чемодана, мясорубки и корзины. Обучающимся предлагается выбрать, как они поступят с информацией, полученной на уроке. По очереди обучающиеся подходят к доске и размещают свои геометрические фигуры на одном из рисунков.
