Be going to | predictions about the future, usually after the verbs hope, believe,think,expect, imagine or after I’m sure, I’m afraid:
I think she’ll get very angry. - for promises(обещания): I promise I won’t tell anybody. - on-the-spot decisoins(спонтанные решения): I’m bored. I think I’ll go to the cinema. - for threats(угроза,предупреждение): Stop talking or I’ll punish you. | - future plans/intentions: He’s going to play tennis tomorrow morning. (=He’s planning to…) - to make predictions based on what we see/know: It’s going to rain. There are dark clouds in the sky. Form: I am He/she/it is going to We/ you/ they are
