План-конспект урока английского языка в 7 классе

по теме «Путешествие. Летние каникулы. Travelling. Summer holidays»

ЦЕЛИ:

1) активизировать речемыслительную деятельность учащихся;

2) развивать монологическую и диалогическую речь;

3) закрепить лексический материал по теме "Путешествие";

4) развивать языковую догадку, навыки проектной работы, творческие спо­собности учащихся,

навыки аудирования;

5) прививать интерес к предмету;

6) формировать навыки работы в коллективе;

7) воспитывать межличностные отношения.



Задачи:

Учебные: обучение рецептивным и продуктив­ным видам речевой деятельности; формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений учащихся на основе языковых, лингвострановедческих и социокультурных знаний, навыков: умения вос­принимать на слух и понимать краткие сообще­ния, умения письменно оформлять несложную информацию, умения вести диалог на заданную тему, умения делать краткие сообщения на за­данную тему, умения высказывать свое мнение и аргументировать его.

Познавательные: знакомство с реалиями англого­ворящих стран путем сравнения имеющихся ранее знаний и понятий со знаниями о своей стране, фор­мирование более глубокого осознания учащимися родной культуры; расширение эрудиции учащихся, их лингвистического и общего кругозора.

Развивающие: развитие способностей к логическому изложению содержания высказывания, интеллектуальное и эмоциональное развитие учащихся; способности к самоконтролю и самооценки знаний, развитие языковых и познава­тельных способностей, ценностных ориентаций, готовности к коммуникации.

Воспитательные: формирование у учащихся уважения и интереса к своей стране и другим стра­нам; воспитание культуры общения; воспитание интереса к учению и формирование познаватель­ной активности; формирование потребности в практическом использовании языка в различных сферах деятельности, формирование уверенности в себе и своих силах.

Тип урока: комбинированный.

Методическое сопровождение урока представлено планом - конспектом с сопутствующими приложениями, электронной презентацией.

Оборудование урока: презентация по теме, ноутбук, проектор, экран, рабочие листы с заданиями для учащихся (worksheets), минусовка песни " My Bonnie".



Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.Warming up activities.

T: Good morning, children! Nice to see you again!

Cl: Hello, teacher!

T: Sit down, please! How are you today?

T: I am glad you are fine! Let’s start our English lesson.

Today it is our last lesson to the topic “Travelling”. Tomorrow you will write a test. So at this lesson we are going to revise and sum up all the information you’ve learnt to this topic.

2. Постановка целей урока

T: The title of our lesson is “Travelling is…” (Слайд 1). At the end of the lesson we have to finish this sentence. Today we will also travel in the large country of English language. Our route looks like that: … (Слайд 2). What do you think we are going to do at this lesson? (возможные варианты ответов: remember vocabulary, discuss the reasons for travelling, talk about our trips, listen to the conversation, check your homework, learn proverbs and sayings about travelling). Let’s begin our travelling!

1)Teacher: First of all I want you to remember the vocabulary. How many word combinations can you find? Don’t forget to translate them. Look at the blackboard, please. There are two columns of English words. Go to the blackboard and match the words from right column to the words from the left column. Then I want you to read the words from the blackboard. Make sentences with these expressions.

T: Many people like travelling. Now let’s discuss why people travel. (Ребята называют причины для путешествия). Look at the blackboard (Слайд 6) and check whether all reasons have been mentioned.

Conclusion: Now we know why people travel.

T: You are tired. Let's have a break and sing the song. We sing the song “My bonny lies over the ocean”, one of the most famous Scottish songs, known all over the world. Last year we learned a lot about the beautiful country of Scotland. We learned one of the popular songs that people know and love in this country. It is a song about Prince Charles who was young and good-looking (“bonny” means “good-looking”).

7. Listening. Развитие навыков аудирования.

T: Ben and Peter are speaking about their summer holidays. Listen to the conversation and mark the sentences "True" or "False". You will hear the recording twice (worksheet: task 2).

PETER’S HOLIDAYS

Ben: Did you stay in the city in summer, Peter?

Peter: No, I didn’t. I went abroad for my holidays.

Ben: Abroad? Did you go to Spain?

Peter: No, I didn’t. I went to Italy, to Rome.

Ben: Did you stay in a hotel?

Peter: Yes, I did. The hotel was very good. My room was comfort­able and the food was wonderful.

Ben: Did you travel in Italy?

Peter: Yes, I did. I visited some very nice places.

Ben: Was the weather good?

Peter: The weather was sunny and hot. I can say I enjoyed my Italian holidays.

T: Our British friend Robin Macwizard is coming to Moscow. He lives in the Inins' family. Masha, Misha's sister, wants to show him Red Square and the Kremlin. Now I'm going to give you the cards that will help you to make dialogues. You have 3 minutes. Work in pairs.

Anfisa and Stas! Come to the blackboard. We listen to you.

T: Usually we travel during our summer holidays. But holidays finish very quickly. Children come back and they have a lot of impressions about the rest. Share with your summer impressions!

А: Hello! Glad to see you after the summer holidays again!

B: I see you're suntanned as well. Did you have a rest at the seaside?

A: No, not this summer. I was at a camp in the country, not far from Moscow. There were green fields and forests around it. The place was very pictur­esque! We went for long walks in the forest, gathered berries, enjoyed the birds' pretty songs and watched insects in the long grass.

B: Did you make new friends at the camp?

A: Yes, there were a lot of nice boys and girls. We had a good time together. We played games, danced, talked about different things. But I liked to go on hikes best of all. It was wonderful to put up tents and sleep there.

B: How did you cook and who cooked for you on hikes?

A: We made a fire and cooked. But of course, our instructors helped us. I can say that meals in the fresh air were very delicious.

B: What was the weather like?

A: That summer was so hot. Every­one was only thinking about how to have a swim some­where. Luckily, there was a lake nearby and we enjoyed bathing, swimming and diving there. I think the summer holi­days were great! I also have a lot of funny photos to show you.

B: Fine. It's a pity summer months go so quickly.

A: But we have enough time ahead to plan our next holi­days.

B: You're right!

At T: At the end of our travelling we return to the sentence “Travelling is…” (Слайд 14). Please finish it. (возможные варианты ответов: fun, great, interesting, exciting, necessary, good, etc.)

Now let’s sum up what we have done at this lesson. What new did you know? Tell me, what did we do during the lesson? (выводы учеников).

It’s time to answer the question: Are you ready for tomorrow’s test? You have cards of green, yellow and red colours. Green means “YES”, yellow – “NOT YET”, red – “NO”. (Слайд 15). Show me what cards have you chosen. (Вывод учителя по сигнальным карточкам)
