Тема урока: Happy birthday, America!
Цель: совершенствование иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции в рамках темы «Happy birthday, America!»
Задачи:
Познакомить учащихся с лексикой по теме «Happy birthday, America!»» и организовать первичную тренировку этой лексики
Развивать умение чтения с извлечением детальной информации
Развивать умения воспринимать на слух иноязычную речь с извлечение конкретной информации
Совершенствовать умение монологической речи в рамках данной темы
Развивать языковую догадку
Развивать внимание и память
Познакомить учащихся с тем, как и где американцы празднуют День Независимости Америки
Воспитывать уважительное отношение к людям и культуре стран изучаемого языка.
Тип урока: развития речевых умений

As the game is called “Auction” you should buy different questions.
It contains 20 questions about The USA and its history
Each question has its initial (первоначальная) price – to buy a question you should bargain on price (торговаться)
The problem is that you don’t know the question before you buy it
If you answer the question you get money – if you don’t do that I take your money back!
The team who buy a question has to answer first, then all the others
During the game I can fine you (оштрафовать) for bad discipline (есть раздаточный материал с правилами)

- Now let‘s divide into 3 groups – take a card please! Now sit in 3 groups (1,2,3) Create the name for your team

- Let’s start! Here is the box with questions and their prices! Each team has 500$ at the beginning of the game.
The first question costs 100 dollars. Who wants to buy it?
