воспитательная: формирование представления о понятии «Здоровый образ жизни» и личностного отношения к нему.
Задачи:
перед учителем: систематизация знаний по теме «Здоровый образ жизни», совершенствование лексических навыков на уровне фразы и сверхфразового единства;
перед учащимися: автоматизировать изученный лексический и грамматический материал.
Педагогические технологии: информационно-коммуникативная, здоровье-сберегающая.
Оснащение урока: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, тексты по теме, карточки для индивидуальной работы, аудиозаписи.
ХОД УРОКА
I. The beginning of the lesson.
T: – Good morning, everybody! I’m very glad to see you at today’s lesson. How are you?
P1: – I’m fine, thanks. And how are you?
T: – I’m fine too. Thank you. I’ m glad you’re well today.
Agree that everyone first of all wants to be healthy and the healthy life-style becomes very popular. Today everybody wants to be fit, feel good, look slim and stay young. Am I right?
Cl: Yes! You are absolutely right.
T: – Today we are going to discuss the most important problem of our life - our health. We’ll discuss how sports, balanced diet help us to be fit, healthy and strong. You will know something interesting and new for you. I hope that our cooperation will be important and useful for you and for me. You see that your health is in your own hands. So the words Healthy Lifestyle will be a redline of today’s lesson.
T.: By the way, what words can you use speaking about health?

II. Phonetic exercises.
T: There are exercises that are useful not only for your body but also for your tongue.
T: Now, look at the blackboard. Thousands years ago ancient Greeks said: The first wealth is health. Health is the best wealth.
There is a tongue twister which consists of two proverbs. Listen and repeat after me.

III. Speech drills.
T.: Agree or disagree with my statements:

- Drinking too much alcohol is a healthy habit.
- Eating low-fat food is a bad habit.

(Slide2) What do people mean when they say about healthy living guide?
Which of these items do you use in your life?
(Slide3) When we talk about health we use different verbs and phrases. Look at the screen and try to make up your own sentences using these phrases.
(Slide4) How can environment influence our health and mood?
T. : Speaking about healthy life, we realize some people care about their health (they have good health habits), others don’t (they have bad health habits).
(Slide5-12) Now we are going to talk about bad habits.
T. : But unfortunately, a lot of teenagers have been smoking when they are at the age of 13 or 14.
Do you know why?
There are many benefits to quitting smoking. Do you know them?
(You will live longer. You will have more money. Your skin will have a fresher look and may look younger.)
T. : What’s your attitude towards this bad habit?
T. : All of you are right. In order to stay healthy it is important to have a balanced diet – food that contains something from each of the three groups of food protein, fat, carbohydrates and also vitamins and minerals.
- Do sports! Remember
Cycling is good for the legs, yoga - for breathing, jogging –for losing weight and also very good for breathing and heart, tennis for arms and legs and soon.
- Be active in life. Put aims and achieve them!
- Be optimists! Believe in future and hope for the best, see only positive sides of life. Try to take and give positive emotions!
(Slide13) Replace the underlined words with antonyms to get correct answer.
(Slide14-15) Why do we need different product? How do they good for you? What dishes can you make using these products? Give a recipe, explain how to cook it.
(Slide16) You can eat a lot of tasty things if you want. But not to be overweight you should burn extra kilocalories. Many people who have lost weight used different methods. Do you know any of them?

T.: I see you are tired. Let’s relax.

VI. Listening.
T.: Sleep is an important component of health.
Listen to the speakers talking about things that may help you to sleep better and match the statements (A-F) to the speakers (1-5). There is one extra statement that you do not need to use.
Do not study all night before the exam.
Make your room comfortable for sleeping.
Do not exercise before bed.
Limit things that make you nervous.
Wake up with bright light.
Set a regular bedtime.
VII. Speaking. Work in pairs.
T.: Ask your classmate about his or her good and bad habits. Try to know as much as possible and tell us about his or her habits.
