Урок в 9 классе по теме “Popular modern jobs” (Популярные современные профессии)

(К УМК «Enjoy English» для 9 класса. Авторы М.З. Биболетова, Е.Е. Бабушис и др.)

Цель урока: развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков (в процессе общения на языке);

Оборудование: проектор, экран, лексическое задание на карточках по количеству учащихся.

Ход урока

1 Этап. Warm up (Организационный момент) (время на этап - 3 мин.)

Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. (Good morning! We are glad to see you too!)

- Sit down, please.

2 этап. Актуализация знаний для изучения нового учебного материала. (10 мин)

1. Раздаточный материал.

3 этап. Развитие навыков коммуникативной речи. (5 мин)

How many professions can you name? (a pilot, a hairdresser, a journalist, an actor, a surgeon, a chef/ cook, an architect, a vet (veterinarian), a mechanic, a shop assistant, a baker, a clothes designer, a lawyer, emergency service officer, etc).

Great!

What kind of job are you interested in? List as many jobs as you can think of and report them to the class.

Go round the classroom and ask different students about the most and least interesting jobs for them. Fill in the table.

5 этап. Работа в группах. (8 мин)

Ученики делятся на группы. Учитель распределяет тексты. Ученики читают тексты и отвечают на вопросы. Ex. 18 – p. 159, ex.20 – p.161.

Подведение итогов. (3 мин)

Учитель подводит итоги. Повторяют названия профессий на английском языке.
