The theme of the lesson: Seasons

The aims of the lesson:

Educational: practice the words in pupils’ speech, to introduce prepositions of time after and before.

Developing: to develop pupils’ oral and written skills and habits improve pronunciation and translation

skills and abilities.

Bring up: to teach children to be attentive, kind and polite.

The equipment: interactive board, cards, pictures of seasons, book.

The procedure of the lesson


I. Organization moment.

Good morning, children! Before we start our lesson I want to your mood. How are you?

II. Checking the home task.

Your home task was to revise month, seasons and ordinal numerals. During the lesson I’ll check your knowledge.


III. Warm-up

Let’s listen to the song, translate it and sing with the singer.

Spring is green

Summer is bright

Winter is white


IV. Revision of seasons
