Урок обобщения и закрепления введенного лексического материала по теме: «What’s the weather like?»
Оборудование: мультимедийный аппарат, тематические картинки «Времена года», карточки с заданиями.
Цели урока: развитие умений вести и поддерживать беседу на английском языке, употребляя введенный лексический и грамматический материал, развитие навыков аудирования, чтения, диалогической, монологической речи, повышение интереса к изучению английского языка.
Использование на уроке коммуникативного, игрового и проектного методов с целью повышения мотивации к изучению английского языка.
Ход занятия.
Приветствие. Речевая зарядка.
Good morning dear girls and boys. I’m glad to see you.
Today we are going to speak about seasons and weather.
Tell me please, how many seasons are there in the year?
(There are 4 seasons in the year).
Right you are. What are they? (They are spring, summer, autumn, winter).
Very good. Now listen.
Spring is green
Summer is bright
Autumn is yellow
Winter is white.
Winter brings us snow flakes
Spring- green buds and shoots
Summer brings us berries
Autumn- golden fruits.
Today we’ll go to Seasons and Weather Land. To get to this beautiful land you must over come some obstacles. I have some riddles for you.
A little old woman with 12 children some short, some long, some hot, some cold. What is it? (a year).
We are 12 little men who make the year go. Starting over again. We are 12 little men. Do you remember them?- Making sunshine and snow. We are 12 little men who make the year go. (12 months).
What man can not live inside the house? (a snow man).

When does spring begin? ( Spring begins in March).
What are spring months? (Spring months are March, April, May).
Is it March or April now? ( It’s April now).
What can you say about April? (The days are long. The sun shines brightly. The snow is melting away. The white colour is loosing its brightness and we enjoy with running streams. The weather is fine. Sometimes it rains.
What do you know about birds, animals, insects? (Birds are making their nests, animals are building their shelters, insects are waking up and looking for food.)
What is the weather like today? ( It’s sunny, windy. The sky is blue. The temperature is 12 degrees.)
