Upbringing: To raise students’ interest in comparing the day of English pupils with that of our schoolchildren.

To practice pupils’ communicative skills by learning new vocabulary
To acquire a new theme and learn words
To practice grammar with interesting exercises.

Teacher gives riddle to students and they must find the word.

Checking-up the home task
What was your home task? Are you ready? Your home task was to complete the sentences in Ex 4 on page 116 and Ex 6 In this exercise you should speak according to these words.

Introduction of the new material
Today we have a very interesting text to be discussed. Look at the exercise on page 125. The theme of the text “A day at school”. Students read and translate the text and do some consolidating tasks.

Pupils will listen the one girl’s speaking about a day at her school. Then will retell what they heard and understand.
