Конспект урока по английскому языку для 6 класса общеобразовательной школы

Тема: “Museums of London

Цель: формировать представления учащихся по теме : “Museums of London

Задачи:

  1. Образовательная: создать условия для актуализации знаний учащихся по теме “London”, формировать представления о музеях Лондона как об уникальных памятников истории, культуры, искусства.

  2. Развивающая: развивать память, мышление, внимание, воображение.

  3. Воспитательная: воспитывать уважение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.

  4. Практическая: создать условия для актуализации и систематизации ЛЕ по теме “MuseumsofLondon”, развивать грамматические навыки учащихся, совершенствовать произносительные навыки, развивать умения понимать речь в нормативном темпе, при живом общении, при прослушивании записи, сделанной носителями языка, развивать диалогическую речь учащихся.

Ход урока.

I Этап. Подготовка учащихся к иноязычной деятельности.

  1. Организационный момент. (2 минуты).

Задача: проверить готовность учащихся к уроку.

T. – Good afternoon, students! I’m very glad to see you! Sit down, please. Who wants to start our lesson? Please tell us about the date and the day. Who is absent today? Why is she/he absent? Thank you. Sit down, please.

Задача: совершенствовать произносительные навыки учащихся, развивать абстрактно-логическое мышление.

T.- Who remembers our general topic for this month? Thank you very much/ Our general topic is “London”. The theme of our last lesson was “Faces of London” . Today the theme of our lessom is connected with the buildings in which objects of artistic, cultural, historical or scientific interest are kept and shown to the public. What buildings are they? Do you know the answer? Listen to my question again. Answer the question. Yes, you are right. The theme of our lesson is connected with museums. Do you like museums? How often do you go to the museums? What London Museums do you know? What collection would you like to see and why?

Задача: создать условия для актуализации знаний учащихся по теме «Лондон»; создать условия для актуализации и систематизации ЛЕ по теме «London. Museums of London” ; формировать представление о музеях Лондона как об уникальных памятниках истории, культуры, искусства; развивать умение понимать речь в нормальном темпе, при живом общении; развивать память, мышление, внимание; воспитывать уважение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.

T.- Let’s check your homework. Look at the screen. Match the museum of London and the description of its collection.

The 1st description. Read it, please. It is one of the oldest and the most famous buildings in London. This museum has a rich collection of armors. The Crown Jewels have been kept there since 1303. What museum is it? Who knows? Yes, you are right. It is the Tower of London.

The 2 nd description. This museums has one of the world’s finest collections of ancient art and the famous reading room, a large round room that used to be part of the British Library. Do you know the museum? Yes, you are right. It is the British Museum.

The 3d description. Read, please. This museum contains many objects from the history Of science, and has a large number of displays which the public can touch and operate. What museum is it? Thank you. You are right It is the Science Museum.

The last description. Who is ready to read? Read, please. This museum contains wax figures of famous people from past and present, and the Chamber of Horrors, an exhibition of famous crimes and punishments. Do you know this museum? Yes, you are right. It is Madame Tussaund’s Museum.

Задача: развивать умение понимать речь в нормальном темпе при прослушивании записи, сделанной носителями языка, развивать логическое мышление, внимание, память, воспитывать уважение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.

T.- Now open your books at page 84,ex.20 and listen to the tape, please. On the tape you will hear two people talking about London. Listen and decide if the following statements are true or false.

The statements are:

  1. Next month I am going to stay in London for 3 days.

  2. It’s too long time to spend in London.

  3. MOMI is not an art gallery

  4. MOMY museum is a museum of cinema and TV history.

Listen to the tape twice and give your answers. Let’s check the answers.

We have just talked about some of them. Remember the others and put the words under the correct heading. You have 3 minutes to do this task.

What squares of London do you remember? What buildings are called “museums”? What London museums do you know? What parks are in London? What bridges of London do you remember?

T. – Do you like parks and gardens? What do people usually do there? You know that London is famous for its parks and gardens. Would you like to visit the parks and gardens of London? Let/s read some new information about them. Open your books at page 81, ex.10. Read the text “Parks and Gardens of London”. Look at your papers, task 2 .(Приложение № 2, задание № 2). Decide whether the following sentences are true or false. You have 8 minutes to do this task. Your time is up. Let’s check your answers.

1. There few parks and gardens in LONDON. Is it true or false? This sentence is false. There are a lot of parks and gardens in LONDON.

2. The Royal parks are the property of the Royal family. Is it true or false? Yes, you are right. It is true.
