Dear Helen,
Thank you for your letter. It was so nice to hear from you. I hope your summer holidays were OK. I also travelled a lot this summer. My Mum, my sister and I went to the country where my Granny lives. My Dad was very busy in June and he couldn’t go with us. My Granny has a nice little house not far from the river. We swam in the river, went to the forest, rode our bikes and played badminton every day. The weather was fine but sometimes it rained and we didn’t go out. In August we went to the seaside. Our Dad joined us too. It was a nice journey! The sea was blue and warm. All the time it was hot outside. We took a lot of pictures. I would like to go to the seaside next summer.
